Organic cotton is growing in popularity with new parents. The demand for organic cotton bedding and baby clothes is led by a desire to impact the world a little less. This is a growing trend in conscious consumerism, but parents have another reason for going organic – the health of their new baby. I have had or helped with multiple greenhouses over the course of my life from helping my grandfather recover their greenhouse every winter with plastic to building my own to buying and putting up a kit.  So, I get asked from time to time what I recommend for the beginner who is not quite sure if they really want to commit to greenhouse growing.  The first thing I recommend is for the person to start off with a simple cold frame.  You can build or buy one and they are cheaper than a normal sized greenhouse.
