Accessories for Outdoor Living

One of the easiest and prettiest things you can use outdoors is containers and bowls. They can be placed on tables, benches, in gardens or on the ground and a good example of this is the use of footed bowls with handles. I love these for a number of reasons; they come in a set of three, which always makes decorating since. If you don’t believe me, take a look at your favorite decorating website or magazine and see how they group things in uneven sets. It just works! The other reason I love these bowls is their look. I have used them in both informal as well as formal settings.

Another great addition we have made to our outdoor area this past year was an outdoor fireplace that we have fallen in love with. I have been surprised at how much we find ourselves out by the fire in the late afternoon and evening hours. To help us bring the firewood and store it we bought a large steel harvest basket. It is sturdy enough to do the job we need it to do yet is still very attractive and lends itself to the overall décor of out outdoor space. Not much to do anymore but enjoy.
