The Bearded Axe of Gimli is a wonderful collector’s item for those who are fond of swords. Created by United Cutlery brands this sword is beautifully crafted in such a way that it looks worn out. The axe is an exact replica of what was displayed in the movie the Lord of the Rings Trilogy movies. Since the axe is for display purposes only it is made of unsharpened steel.

The quality of the axe is flawless and is an absolutely great work of art. The blade of the axe is made of forged or cast tool steel that gives it that rugged worn out look. You will also notice a lot of brass engraved decorations on it, which make it even more exquisite. The entire axe looks worn out and this is because of the way it is manufactured with a lot of care to detailed work.

Since each piece is handmade they are also marked with the required copyrights. The axe comes in a display plaque as well as a certificate of authenticity. The blade of the axe is a good 8 inches while the overall length of the axe is 34c inches giving it a lot of handle for a perfect grip making it the perfect addition to your movie swords collection.

We recently had a holiday gathering at work, where everyone brought in home cooked dishes and desserts for the celebration. There were so many delicious dishes it was hard not to eat everything. One of my favorites was the Swedish meatballs in a sweet sauce that had been brought in in a slow cooker. Another delicious dish was a warm pecan crusted cinnamon apple crisp that we topped with vanilla ice cream. I did notice that many of the dishes were brought in inside open glass and metal dishes covered with foil and plastic wrap. However, one woman had this great Pyrex Glass Portable Bakeware Set that made it so easy to bring her food to the event.

Pyrex portable bakeware and cookware is wonderful because you can cook your food in the dishes and then easily transport them to any gathering by snapping on the tight-fitting lids and placing them inside the sturdy nylon carrier. That means your food won’t slip and slide in the car or spill out of a foil-covered dish on the way to your destination. If you’re looking for the perfect holiday gift for someone in your family that loves to cook, then you can’t go wrong with a Pyrex portable bakeware set!

My niece is getting married soon and of course, she’s quite excited about it. She’s also caught up in all of the craziness of planning a wedding – the photographer, the flowers, the food, the reception, the honeymoon. And during all of this planning, she and her fiancee have been looking for their first home too. So the wish list for her upcoming bridal shower and wedding gifts has lots of household items on it, especially small home decor accessories and necessary kitchenware tools. We’ve decided to chip in together and purchase this great Rachael Ray 10 Piece Stainless Steel Cookware Set as our gift to them.

I know that my niece will really appreciate this versatile stainless cookware set. Cooking is one of her favorite hobbies and I know how much she’ll enjoy using these pots and pans. This durable set has an attractive brushed stainless finish, glass lids, and comfortable silicone handles that easy to grip. The set has everything a cook could want including two covered saucepans, a large eight quart covered stockpot, two good-sized open skillets and a ten inch covered saute pan. I know this beautiful cookware will last them for many years – making it the perfect gift for any new couple.

Every supermarket I go in has the delicious aroma of rotisserie chicken wafting through the air. That smell is so incredibly wonderful, that I’ve decided to duplicate that aroma at home. I don’t have a rotisserie but I do have a crock pot, so I’m doing the next best thing; making a crock pot rotisserie chicken. You might be asking yourself how that’s possible, since you can’t put the chicken on a spit and constantly be turning it. The trick is to get the bird up off the bottom of the crock pot, so the juices can drip and sputter and do the rotisserie thing without the turning part. Very clever… Very tasty!

I have discovered so many new crock pot recipes to try, that the crock pot seems to be my first choice in deciding what to cook. Every time I plan a meal, I ask myself first if it could be made more easily, or taste better, in the crock pot. Oftentimes, the answer is a resounding “Yes”. We’re on a pretty tight budget, so if I can avoid heating up my whole oven for one little chicken or pot roast, I’ll do it!

I always seem to be rushing out the door in the morning, forgetting to have a decent breakfast and instead hitting the drive-through on the way to work. I just love eating egg and cheese sandwiches, even if they are a little greasy for me. It’s just that they are so easy to grab and sinfully yummy, I can’t resist. Lately I have been trying to do a little better with my budgeting and my calories, so I’ve been cutting back on extras, including my breakfast sandwiches. But I miss them! Then my thoughtful sister gave me an early holiday gift – a really cool Egg and Muffin 2 Slice Toaster.

She knows me well! I am now able to quickly make my healthier breakfast sandwiches with less grease on a whole grain muffin and they are delicious! The toaster slots are plenty wide enough for toasting croissants and bagels too. It’s a sleek looking toaster in black and stainless steel that looks great in my kitchen. Now all of my friends want to know where I got it so they can get this great Electric Toaster for their own kitchen.

We all know that cooking family meals can sometimes be a bit stressful and time consuming. That’s why we were so happy when we discovered this large covered clay baker from Romertopf- its simple design delivers absolutely delicious, easy meals with little preparation required. What’s so special about it is that the clay design traps moisture and slowly releases it into the food as it cooks, making clay cooking perfect for all types of roasts, fish, soups, and especially poultry. We love how our chicken turns out perfectly juicy inside and crispy outside – especially if we cook it with just a small amount of marinade and remove the top during the last few minutes of oven time.

Fancy yourself more of a gourmet cook? You’ll be happy to know that the clay cooking method has been used for ages by renowned chefs around the world. You can have fun experimenting by cooking several varieties of vegetables simultaneously with your roasts or fish. The flavor crossovers can be truly unique and will make quite an impression on your guests. This baker is large enough to accommodate 4 quarts (or up to 14 pounds), which is quite ample for feeding four to six people. For a special treat, you can even try preparing one of your favorite desserts in Romertopf clay cookware, you’ll love the results!
